I love to make this recipe with kids because they can do much of the work by themselves and if you’ve spent time with a small child you know they are all about doing things by themselves! Alone, kids can put all ingredients into an air-tight container and stir or shake it up to combine. With assistance, they can measure out the ingredients before adding them to the container.
¾cupold-fashioned rolled oats
¾cupmilkany kind of milk will work
½cupblueberriesfrozen or thawed
½teaspoonpure maple syrup
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
2tablespoonsshredded coconutunsweetened (I like to use Bob’s Red Mill brand)
