Inside the food truck

This morning at IFBC we were treated to a truly moving and inspirational talk from Penny De Los Santos, Saveur’s Senior Contributing Photographer.

If you’ve been following the #IFBC twitter hashtag during the conference, you probably got a pretty good idea of how engrossed everyone here was.  People stopped being snarky and witty and many were so compelled they closed their laptops and actually paid attention.

Penny gave us a homework assignment:  Practice food photography and upload your best shot (mine’s above).  Folks have submitted them with the hashtags #IFBC and #HUNTPIC — so scroll through and check ’em all out!

I did enter it — but there were so many great photos, I’m not surprised it wasn’t chosen. I’m okay with that, I’m happy with it and glad you both like it.

Did anybody compile all the entries in one place? Would be fun to see them all together.
