The challenge starts tomorrow!

Tomorrow’s the first big day of October Unprocessed! Here’s everything you need to know.

Above all else: Take the Pledge

I know there are a few folks out there still on the fence. There’s a lot to be said for actually filling out the form and signing your name. I know it’s just a form on some guy’s blog — but there’s still something powerful about making that public declaration, and seeing your name alongside thousands of others who are doing this with you.

Remember, I encourage you to define “unprocessed” however you see fit, to select any “deliberate exceptions” you may need, and to participate in a way that feels right to you.  You’ve got a lot to gain, and I can’t think of a single thing you might lose.

Take the pledge here!

Invite your Friends

Yay! Congrats on making it official! Now, if you haven’t shared it with your friends, family, and co-workers , now’s the time! When the people around you participate, it’s a lot more fun — and you’ll be more successful, too.

Use these buttons and you won’t even have to leave this page:

Guest Posts

Tomorrow, I’ll be continuing with the “Frequently Asked Questions posts, to help you navigate the various potential pitfalls of the challenge. And then as we proceed through the month, I’m going to be sharing more guest posts from my fellow writers.

Please support and encourage our guest authors! They’re an incredible group of people (and none of them are being paid to write these posts). So if you like what they have to say, bookmark their websites, buy their books, Like their Facebook pages, and follow them on Instagram or Twitter. I’ll provide links to all of that stuff at the end of each post. Cool? Cool.

Many Thanks

Before this whirlwind month kicks off tomorrow, I’d like to take a moment to offer up some gratitude. This project wouldn’t be anything without the incredible support of all of you. It’s your enthusiasm and sharing about the challenge — on Facebook, on Twitter, on Pinterest, on your blogs — that has gotten thousands people participating.

I also have a dream team who helps make this all happen. Kristi, Dana, Melissa, Wendy, Steph, and Jeff: Thank you!

And most importantly: The contributors who are writing guest posts are my personal heroes. They’ve donated their time and expertise to contribute in a way that uplifts us all. So thank you all for taking this journey and embracing this challenge. We’re changing the world, one bite at a time.
